Sunset Park Building Project

  • We are happy to announce we will rebuild Sunset Park Elementary School on the same property with an estimated opening of Aug. 2026 with no impact to our taxpayers.

    On Tuesday, May 28, we hosted community input sessions to prepare for finalizing building and construction plans for the new school. Thank you to the friends and neighbors, staff and faculty who joined us. We will keep this page updated with upcoming community sessions.

    We are looking forward to continuing this important conversation with our community partners.

    has been selected as our architect of the new school and will be our contractor. Both companies have a strong local presence in our district with many of their teams living in Rock Hill.
